Comprehensive Cardiology Care at RACE cardiac clinic

Cardiology Consultation

This is a scheduled appointment where you will meet with a cardiologist to discuss your heart health related concerns, undergo a physical examination,  diagnose the issues and receive personalised treatment recommendations.  You can ask questions to better understand your health and treatment options.

To help ensure everything goes smoothly, it's a good idea to arrive ahead of time to complete any necessary patient registration formalities. This may include:

  • Providing personal details: Full name, contact information, date of birth, and emergency contact.

  • Identification: Carry a valid ID (Medicare Card) for verification.

  • Medical history: Be prepared to discuss your medical history, including any existing conditions (e.g., high blood pressure, diabetes), previous surgeries, and family history of heart disease.

  • Current medications: Have a list of any medications you're currently taking, including dosages and frequency.
